Mrs. 4-C Che Atlanta Journal AND CONSTITUTION DEATHS AND FUNERALS Andrew W. Amphlett, Engineer, Dies at 83 Andrew William Amphlett, 83, mining engineer, died Saturday at his home, 153 Holiday NE. Mr. Amphlet retired last year after serving six years with the State Bureau of Mines.

Prior to that time he operated two mines at Buford. He also had worked in mines in Colorado. During his career he had conducted mineral at Allatoona and Buford In the surveys, past month he conducted a similar survey Lockheed Aircraft Corp. at Dawsonville, where a will be located. new, plant, member of the Church of the Epiphany and was a Mason.

Survivors are his wife and sons, John R. Amphlett of East Point, and A. M. Amphlett of Augusta. Howard L.

Richardson Howard L. Richardson, 51, of 251 Whitefoord SE, died Saturday at his home. A native of Atlanta, Mr. Richardson had employed by the Fulton County Daily Report AS a linotype operator for 33 years, Survivors include his wife; daughters, Misses Jeannie, Theresa and Suzanne Richardson, all of Atlanta; sons, Howard L. Richardson San Francisco, Gerard, James and David Richardson, all of Atlanta, and a brother, B.

E. Richardson, Atlanta, Mrs. Lillie Bell York Funeral services for Mrs. Lillie Bell York, 1305 Bolton NW, will be held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at Riverside Chapel.

The Rev. Stewart will officiate, with burial in Crest Lawn Cemetery. Mrs. York died Friday night in a private hospital. She was the widow of W.

Everett, of 3770 Appalachee NE, died Saturday in An Atlanta hospital. A native of Virginia, Mrs. Everett lived in North Carolina before moving to Atlanta six years ago. She was a member of the Oglethorpe Presbyterian Church. Survivors include her husband; daughters, Miss Carolyn A.

Mrs. William H. Arnold Funeral services for Mrs. William Howard Arnold, 77, former Atlantian, will be held Monday at 2:30 p.m. at the Gordon Street Baptist Church.

Mrs. Arnold died Saturday at her home in Bowman. She had lived in Bowman only a short time. Most of her life was spent in Atlanta. While here, her home was 1282 Lucile SW.

A native of Elbert County, she was a member of Gordon Street Baptist Church. She is survived by a son, Thomas L. Aronld, an Atlanta policeman; daughters, Mrs. A. M.

Mattie Curry Dies at 98; Recalled Sherman's March Mrs. Mattie Curry, 98, of 289 Ninth NE, died Saturday at her home after illness of several weeks. Mrs. Curry, a native of Gray in Jones County, had lived in Atlanta with her daughter, Mrs. R.

Funeral Monday For Ralph Barrett, Shooting Victim Funeral services. will be held Monday for an Alpharetta youth accidentally shot to death Saturday.
